Day 2: Dharamshala to Kareri Village

  • After an early breakfast, drive from Dharamshala to Kareri Village (about 2-3 hours).
  • Start your trek to Kareri Lake from Kareri Village.
  • The trek is approximately 8-10 kilometers and may take around 4-6 hours, depending on your pace.
  • Arrive at Kareri Lake and set up your camp.
  • Enjoy the evening by the lakeside, have dinner, and stargaze if the weather is clear.

Day 3: Kareri Lake Exploration

  • Spend the day exploring the surroundings of Kareri Lake.
  • You can take shorter hikes to nearby meadows or viewpoints.
  • Enjoy the pristine beauty of the lake and the tranquility of the Himalayan wilderness.
  • Overnight stay at the campsite near the lake.

Day 4: Trek to Kareri Village and Return to Dharamshala

  • After breakfast, begin your descent from Kareri Lake to Kareri Village.
  • Reach Kareri Village and have lunch there.
  • Drive back to Dharamshala.
  • Check into your accommodation in Dharamshala.
  • Rest and relax in Dharamshala for the night.

Day 5: Departure

  • Depending on your travel plans, you may explore more of Dharamshala or proceed to your next destination.
